So I did another kiddies portrait session today and it was just GRAND.
I have got to tell you that these two little girls are pretty darn cute....I happen to be Hannah's (the older sister) teacher,  so naturally cuteness runs in my classroom. In fact as a rule of thumb I always teach my kids to reveal their inner cuteness...ok I made that up. Anyway, the little one,Sophie...was hilarious...not only does she sing Justin Bieber on cue... but every time I pointed the camera in her direction ...

ALL SHE SAID WAS...

 'stinky cheese'....

I laughed. A LOT.

Bonds

That bond between a mother and her child is probably one of the most incredible things. I think being a mom is one of the MOST amazing ideas God ever had.  Like he was just relaxing after he made the world and then he was all..'you know...that Eve...she needs a little person to nurture and love...and I shall call it motherhood'. AMAZING..truly amazing. Anyway..so I just felt like posting this pic because it is full of love.

They're cute... WAY cute ok...

Most of you would know that I don't spend my days running around the city trying to capture every passing moment with my el-camero (this is my new fancy-pants word for camera...just stay with me,people). I do in fact have a day job... I,Derryn Ludlow, am the moulder of young minds. What?? 'You're a university lecturer?" I hear you say. No I'm a pre-school teacher. Yeah I colour-in,cut,sing and tell jokes for a living. A pretty good one at that too. (One of the kids in my class told me this after I reprimanded them, nice right? I must be doing something right.)

Anyway,being a pre-school teacher means that naturally I do a fair amount of kids photos. So this past week I did a couple kiddie photo shoots at some random park with gale force winds and a bunch of balloons. Needless to say,the balloons (helium) were air-lifted out the park,10 minutes into the photo shoot. Great...thanks a heap weatherman.

Forgive me...I've neglected you.

I did NOT even realise that it has been 20 days since my last confession...jokes...I mean POST. My friend asked me when I was going to put up something new on here and the whole time I was thinking 'What a dork....I posted something like a week ago...." only to realise it's been close on a month. (Sorry C.C that I called you a dork in my mind...forgiven? great)

Anyway, life is re-donk-ulously (yes this is a word) busy at the moment, my teaching job (yes I do that too) is super busy with ..well...I shan't bore you...but cutting a long story very short... life is busy and Im trying to squeeze in photoshoots wherever possible. Soon I shall have lots and LOTS of free time for more photos.
Anyway ,so I was looking through some of my photos and came across this most delightful one which I just had to post on here...and I do realise this will probably only appeal to lady blog visitors, I imagine the response will be something like this:

Let me start by saying,the weather was somewhat unfavourable on the day we did this. Its good to be humbled sometimes I guess. *Dear God...next time...please choose something other than the weather. Therefore this is part one of a family shoot. These are 3 of the most wonderful kids, all gorgeous,all hilarious,all talented.Did I mention I love these kids? *Sorry Savanna..I know you are technically not a kid ok* Anyway their awesome mother texted me only a couple hundred times reminding me I needed to take their photos.Thanks for that Gina. Anyway,cutting a LONG story very short. Here are some of the pics of this very awesome trio.
